Its designs, manufacturing support and after-sales support have enabled our manufacturing/sales partner to secure market dominance in this product area.

Software

Experienced in a wide range of languages and techniques, our developers bring together a mix of skills which allow us to produce quality solutions.

Platforms

With extensive experience in Open Source development, we attempt to utilise existing open and free software whenever possible to develop systems quickly and effectively.

We develop mainly with and for the Linux OS, with which we have vast experience ranging from kernel level and real time processing, to userspace and interface design. When necessary we also develop for Microsoft platforms, Mac and other Unixes.

Databases

Databases form a critical component of many systems. The proper design of their structure can be the difference between a glittering success and a flop. We are experienced in designing normalised relational database systems for effective data storage. We also work with redundant systems to provide continued uptime in critical systems.

Interfaces

No matter the quality of the underlying code in a system, it is of little use if it cannot be easily driven and managed by its users. We place a strong emphasis on the design of intuitive and visually stimulating interfaces for users. Depending on the application and needs we develop GUI elements using technologies such as GTK, Java, Swing, AWT & SWT, or as Web interfaces for remote access.

Documentation & Training

We consider educating users of our products a major priority. As well as clear and informative documentation and manuals, we provide interactive knowledge based systems and hands-on classroom training sessions.

Further to this our shared excellence enables us to provide rapid response support to live critical systems.

Hardware

Sometimes a problem can’t be solved with software alone. The need for hardware to interact with the real world can present huge challenges. Often ones that specialist software houses are ill equipped to analyse and overcome.

With our years of experience in hardware development we are able to examine existing solutions effectively, or develop hardware systems when necessary to solve the challenges of integration. From the components on the board, through to low-level microchip programming and the interface to PC hardware.
